About Dr. Blumenthal

Dr. Blumenthal is a caring, dedicated, board-certified general and peripheral vascular surgeon who has successfully treated more than 50,000 patients over the past 20 years. He has spent his career focused on achieving the highest standards in medical treatment and patient care.

A native of St. Louis, Dr. Blumenthal received his bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude in chemistry from Dartmouth College before earning his medical degree from the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine.

He performed his internship and residency in St. Louis at Barnes Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine Hospitals and went on to serve as chief resident at Barnes Hospital, John Cochran Veterans Administration Hospital, the former City Hospital, the former St. Louis County Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital. He has also served on the faculty at Washington University School of Medicine as an instructor in surgery.

Dr. Blumenthal is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been board certified three times by the American Board of Surgery.
